To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located. This role is hybrid and will require going into an IQVIA office several times weekly in PA, NY, NJ, or CT.
Consultant – Commercial Solutions & Insights Hub (CSIH), Analytic ServicesThe CSIH team consults with manufacturers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries to address complex healthcare challenges. As a member of the Analytic Services team, you will:
- Design and execute analytics projects, acquiring knowledge of IQVIA data sources, leading analyses, developing data systems, and identifying trends in complex data sets.
- Provide business consulting and project management, applying consulting methodologies to deliver engagements, creating client presentations, managing projects, cultivating relationships with client teams, and collaborating with management to prioritize needs.
- Synthesize complex data into actionable results and recommendations from secondary data sources, addressing a wide range of market, therapeutic, prescriber, patient, payer, and competitive questions.
- Assist in developing detailed documentation and specifications, including business process documentation, SOPs, and client data scorecards.
- Participate in learning communities to codify data analytics expertise and develop training content for the team.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 3‑5 years of related experience, including consulting and life sciences industry experience.
- Strong ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines with consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
- Knowledge of the fundamental processes of pharmaceutical commercial business.
- Prior healthcare data experience, including physician and patient claims; IQVIA data preferred.
- Experience in marketing analytics, covering patient journey, segmentation, targeting, promotion, allocation, sales force sizing, optimization, ROI, utilization, forecasting, and launch model building.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong technical skills in SAS, SQL, R, Python, and/or Excel VBA.
- Exposure to cloud processing environments, such as Cloudera, Snowflake, and/or Databricks.
- Experience developing consultative relationships with senior managers and executives in the life sciences industry.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques related to functional area.
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $71,200.00 – $. Incentive plans, bonuses, and other forms of compensation may be offered, along with health and welfare benefits.
