Senior Analyst, Customer Success (P3)

As a Senior Analyst in the OEM Customer Success organization, you will act as a data analyst lead and trusted advisor for our clients. You will serve as a subject matter expert on automotive sales, pricing, incentives, and residual values to drive client satisfaction and retention. This role is part of an accelerated development program designed to create future world‑class automotive analysts, offering opportunities to consult with industry leaders and support decisions impacting millions of dollars in OEM profitability.

It will also enable business development growth through the creation of effective case studies highlighting the value that J.D. Power’s data and services deliver.

• Leverage intellectual curiosity and cutting‑edge BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Thought Spot) to analyze industry trends and deliver impactful insights.
• Use significant Excel experience for data manipulation and repeatable analysis.
• Serve as the customer success analyst for key clients, build trusted advisor relationships, and ensure they can leverage J.D. Power's data to gain high‑value insights.
• Proactively identify solutions to support sales and business development organization.
• Generate in‑depth analysis explaining changes in the U.S. automotive retail industry, acting as the subject matter expert on sales volume, pricing, incentives, and residual values.
• Lead discussions with J.D. Power users at OEMs, create case studies, thought‑leadership articles, and compelling presentations to highlight the value of J.D. Power’s data and services.

• 2–5 years of experience in automotive retail sales or reporting roles, consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or analytics.
• Automotive industry experience in finance, analytics, corporate strategy, or pricing is highly desirable.
• Significant experience with Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience using BI platforms like Tableau, PowerBI, or Thought Spot for analysis.
• Experience with executive‑level presentations and public speaking.
• General interest and understanding of trends in the automotive industry is desirable.

Starting salary range of $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
