OverviewWe are hiring Member Services Representatives (Tellers) for three branch locations in the West Michigan area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining accuracy in financial transactions, and creating a positive in-branch experience.
You will serve as a key front-line contact, assisting customers with transactions, answering questions, and providing information on products and services while ensuring efficient daily branch operations.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service & Member Support
- Provide friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service to customers.
- Assist with inquiries, account questions, and service requests.
- Educate customers on available financial products and services, including:
- Basic loan offerings
- Business accounts
- Specialty/fiduciary accounts
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience by going above and beyond to meet needs.
- Transaction Processing
- Accurately process a variety of transactions, including:
- Deposits and withdrawals
- Check cashing
- Credit card advances
- Money orders and cashier’s checks
- Utilize internal banking systems (e.g., CBX or similar platforms).
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily with strong attention to detail.
- Accurately process a variety of transactions, including:
- Operations & Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to research and resolve customer issues.
- Ensure timely follow-up and accurate issue resolution.
- Support other branch locations as needed to maintain service coverage.
- Participate in community engagement initiatives and events.
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
- Required
- 1–3 years of customer service experience (face‑to‑face preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Basic math and cash-handling aptitude.
- Proficiency with computers and general systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Reliable attendance and stable work history.
- Preferred
- Previous banking or credit union experience.
- Cash handling experience.
- Familiarity with banking systems such as CBX or similar platforms.
- Modern branch environment with updated technology and equipment.
- Team-oriented atmosphere with strong leadership support.

Job Type & LocationContract to Hire based in Comstock Park, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 per hour.
