Job Summary

To support Business department in terms of administrative work relating to customer visits, quotation, market intelligence, hire, train and supervise Department Assistant in daily function, assist in preparation of marketing materials, and other matters as deemed necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • To handle all necessary arrangement on customer visits.
  • To support Business Department on all administrative work pertaining to faxes, mails, parcels and packages.
  • Maintain quotation log and ensure that all quotation information is updated within.
  • Coordinate and attend Business Department meetings and minutes taking.
  • ISO procedures updating.
  • Resolve with customer all questions related to the quoting activities.
    • For Rework quotes:
      • Generate RFQ format.
      • Provide all required information to Manufacturing, Engineering and materials and test in order to get their feedback for quote.
      • Gather all information from the required areas to generate a response to the customer.
      • Generate corporate quote template.
      • Provide RFQ to JCI for consideration and approval.
    • For New Products:
      • Generate RFQ format.
      • Provide all required information to Manufacturing, Engineering and materials and test in order to get their feedback for quote.
      • Gather all information from the required areas to generate a response to the customer.
      • Verify Data from the individual departments.
      • Verify tooling requirements.
      • Generate corporate quote template.
      • Provide RFQ to JCI for consideration and approval.
    • For ECN’s (current products):
      • Generate RFQ format.
      • Compare BOMS.
      • Verify cycle times and flow charts.
      • Gather all information from the required areas to generate a response to the customer.
      • Generate corporate quote template.
      • Provide RFQ to JCI for consideration and approval.
    • For Deviations:
      • Compare BOMS.
      • Generate corporate quote template.
      • Provide RFQ to JCI for consideration and approval.
    • For Service Parts:
      • Generate RFQ format.
      • Verify Inventory for FG.
      • Request CTS to verify inventory.
      • Confirm tooling availability.
      • Provide RFQ to JCI for consideration and approval.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirements
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

The hourly pay range for this role is $17.93 - $32.26. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
