Experienced Customer Service Rep
- Onsite Position
Precision Cutting Tool Manufacturing company looking for a Customer Service Representative to work in our Warren location. Full-time position M-F 9:00am - 6pm. Benefit package including Medical, Dental and Vision on first day of work, 401k with company match after 90 days. Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
- Provide pricing and delivery information
- Perform customer verifications
- Set up new customer accounts
- Process orders, forms, applications and requests
- Organize workflow to meet customer time frames
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- Manage customers' accounts
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
- Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
- Record details of actions taken
- Prepare and distribute customer activity reports
- Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation

- Education and/or
Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Language
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
