Middle School Teacher

St. Anne Catholic Grade School seeks an enthusiastic and highly talented middle school teacher. The successful candidate will teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and be responsible for other duties as assigned by the principal. The candidate should possess a BA/BS degree and state teacher certification. Dual certification is desired but not necessary.

The successful candidate must also:

- demonstrate effective planning skills by preparing lessons aligned to state standards

- effectively integrate technology into instruction and learning activities

- develop and use multiple forms of assessment and evaluation to ensure student growth

- establish a system of classroom management that promotes self-direction, self-regulation, and a positive self-image

- maintain an active and engaging learning environment

- communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration

-possess an understanding of Disciplinary Literacy Practices
