A School Psychologist position is available to support students academic, social, and emotional development within a dynamic school environment located in Warren, MI. This role involves collaborating closely with educators, parents, and administrators to create supportive interventions and foster student success. The position includes some travel between school sites to provide comprehensive services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support educational and behavioral goals
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage confidentiality and maintain professional standards
Location
  • Warren, Michigan area with travel to multiple school sites as required
