About the role:
Within the Division of Student Support Services and under the general direction of the administrator, this position is responsible for providing services to identified students with IEPs who are enrolled in regular, vocational, or special education in schools within the Ingham ISD service area and for providing consultation to educational personnel on behalf of transition programs and caseload students.
The transition coordinator initiates and provides access to agency information and services for transition-age students in preparation for exit from educational services. The coordinator also maintains contact with school and community resources to enhance student career readiness, employability, and transition to adult living in the community.
