In this dynamic role, youll collaborate directly with educators, administrators, and families to address the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students throughout the  school year.

As a valued psychological resource, your expertise will extend beyond routine assessments. Youll engage in creating proactive intervention strategies and shaping a nurturing school environment. The role is situated entirely onsite, supporting 12 buildings within a district where psychologists split responsibilities across five locations two elementary schools and a combined middle/high school facility.

• Michigan School Psychologist Certification (or willingness to obtain licensure before the start date for out-of-state professionals)
• Background in school-based psychological services, including assessments, counseling, or behavioral intervention
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and holistic student support
• Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and intervention plans
• Offer crisis intervention and support mental well-being across the student population
• Move beyond traditional testing roles by providing guidance on preventative mental health initiatives within the school community
