Job Description

Step into an exciting opportunity for the  school year as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students in a vibrant educational environment near Warren, MI. This full-time, contract role is perfect for professionals passionate about empowering students and collaborating with dedicated educators.

Your expertise in educational psychology will be key to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll play a vital part in assessing student needs, guiding interventions, and working directly with a diverse K-12 caseload. Bringing positivity and adaptability, you’ll join a committed multidisciplinary team where your insights and compassion make a daily difference.

Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Current Michigan School Psychologist license preferred (or eligibility and willingness to obtain prior to the new school year)
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience with K-12 students is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and students
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling as needed
  • Ability to adapt to diverse needs and foster a supportive school climate

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services within the school setting
  • Conduct evaluations, interpret test results, and present findings to teams and families
  • Assist in creating and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies
  • Provide direct and indirect services to support academic and behavioral success
