POSITION: Special Education Teacher – Elementary
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Highly Qualified in Special Education. Endorsements in SA, SE, or SM preferred. (or willingness to obtain such)
- Experience in teaching K-12 students strongly recommended
- Experience in creating and using both formative and summative assessments
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and expertise in working with K-12 students
5.. Demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of students including At-Risk and
Special Education students
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively/cooperatively with peers on numerous methodologies
- Demonstrate ability to implement effective instructional strategies to improve student achievement
- Positive public relations and communication skills required
- Ability to demonstrate effective classroom management techniques
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
