Job Title:
Lab & Manufacturing Tech Engineer
Seeking a recent graduate with 1-2 years of hands‑on lab or manufacturing experience to support welding, materials testing, and characterization activities. This role will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams on weld testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laser and resistance welding, including weld coupons and tab welding.
- Prepare and analyze welded samples (cross-sections, optical microscopy).
- Conduct material characterization, tensile testing, resistance, and resistivity measurements.
- Support lab test setups, DOE activities, and data documentation.
- Coordinate test data with internal teams and external suppliers.
- 1-2 years of lab or manufacturing experience (internships/co‑ops acceptable).
- Experience with welding processes and materials testing.
- Bachelor's degree required (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering preferred).
- Optical microscopy, metallography, or SEM experience
