Engineer, Systems Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Warren, MI. Candidate must have strong expertise in AWS Quick Sight and Snowflake development to qualify for this role.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $41/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead structured root-cause investigations across hardware, signal integrity, power integrity, and software interaction layers to resolve complex issues.
• Triage and support high-priority bugs raised by distributed software and hardware teams across multiple global locations.
• Debug high-speed digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and serializer/deserializer links to ensure system stability.
• Manage high-power ECU troubleshooting, including PMICs, regulators, thermal behavior, and power-sequencing challenges.
• Execute hands-on hardware validation activities including oscilloscope measurements, high-speed probing, board bring-up, and rework coordination.
• Maintain clear documentation in Jira while coordinating actions, tracking progress, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6-10 years of relevant hardware engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in high-speed digital hardware design, automotive ECU systems, and debugging complex signal/power integrity issues.
• Proven capability in leading hardware validation activities and coordinating issue resolution across cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering teams.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $41.00 per hour
