Candidates must be knowledgeable in all areas of plastic processing and manufacturing to maintain consistent quality output.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead process development and validation for all new injection molds using Scientific Injection Molding techniques.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to establish stable, repeatable, and capable manufacturing processes.
* Perform start-up, shutdown, and changeovers of injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment.
* Conduct mold setups and pull-outs as required by production or sampling schedules.
* Troubleshoot and optimize existing processes to maintain part quality and reduce scrap.
* Develop and maintain standardized process documentation (e.g., process sheets).
* Monitor process performance; identify and implement improvement opportunities.
* Lead initiatives to improve cycle time, cavitation efficiency, scrap reduction, and processing consistency.
* Provide training and support to Mold Setters, Operators, and Engineering staff on molding processes.
* Recommend mold/equipment design changes and support capital equipment projects.
* Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and corrective action teams.
* Provide technical support for new tooling qualifications, validations, and customer trials.
* Ensure compliance with company Safety, Quality, and Productivity
Qualifications:
* Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of ten (10) years of prior experience in an injection molding environment
* Eight (8) years of successful plastic injection molding processing experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of Scientific Injection Molding techniques
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and applications preferred
* Ability to read measuring devices and interpret blue prints
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite a plus
