We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Reservoir Engineering Specialist in our Columbus, Michigan location.
This position is part of a job family (Associate Engineering Specialist, Engineering Specialist, and Senior Engineering Specialist) where experience will be the determining factor.
Job Responsibilities- Engineering design and support of well drilling and well abandonment operations
- Engineering support for projects and maintenance activities
- Assist in monitoring and tracking storage inventories
- Monitor and track integrity of wells and reservoir (API 1171)
- Monitor and oversee workovers and well logging
- Compile and interpret data, maintain records
- Work closely with Management to maintain compliance regarding PHMSA Regulations (Storage Integrity & CFR part 192) as well as Environmental and Safety
- Provide support for audits and inspections
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline with five years of engineering/project management experience will be accepted.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Geological, Chemical, Mechanical)
- 2+ years of experience in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- 2+ years of underground gas storage experience
