Duration: 1 year, with potential extensions and/or conversion
Overtime: As needed (plant support role)
Compensation: $40/hr to $55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

MUST HAVES- Strong experience with Rockwell PLC logic
- Familiarity working on controls projects / OEM standards
- Willingness to be hands‑on and work directly on the plant floor
- Prior GM plant or project experience
- Controls Engineer with M‑TEC training
The Controls Engineer will support day‑to‑day plant operations for a large automotive OEM's manufacturing facility, providing hands‑on controls and automation support for PLCs, HMIs, and supporting automation systems. This role is heavily plant‑floor focused and works closely with maintenance, IT, vendors, and production teams to keep equipment running and resolve breakdowns efficiently.
- Assist with PLC and HMI startup and recovery
- Troubleshoot PLC and HMI issues (Rockwell / Siemens environments)
- Provide support for FANUC robots as needed
