Environmental Program Manager Duties
Reviews new environmental regulations, laws and policies, in order to monitor impact on mission and operations.
Implements plans, policies, directives and guidance required for the effective execution of the environmental program.
Ensures implementation of internal and external environmental awareness and ethics among personnel.
Reviews plans, projects and proposed actions for environmental impacts prior to execution.
Conducts special studies and projects related to pollution prevention, contamination cleanup, and environmental quality improvements.
Attends conferences and meetings with representatives of HQ, IMA, Federal, DA/DoD, other installations, as well as concerned parties on matters pertaining to environmental programs.
