Plant Modelling Engineer

Job Description & Skill Requirement

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Controls engineering
• 5+ yrs of engineering experience in design, analysisor testing of 12V/48V electrical system or components
• Proficient in Synopsys Saber simulator, MAST modelling language, and electrical data analysis tools including MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape
• Skilled in developing models for Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) simulations
• Experience with FMUs (Functional Mockup Unit) and co-simulation
• Hands-on experience with Charge Balance, Fail-Operational, Bus Integrity, Short Circuit and other 12V/48V Component Sizing simulations
• Strong foundation in engineering principles related to electric circuit analysis, electronics, electromagnetics, electric drive systems, control systems, and digital signal processing
• Experienced in analytical modelling of electric generators, batteries, heating and cooling systems, lighting systems, and electronic controllers
