** This position is fully onsite Monday through Friday in Warren, MI.

* Primary Responsibilities:

*** Collaborate daily with managers and leaders while reporting to the Segment Group Controller.
* Prepare monthly financial packages for subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Manage monthly financial reporting, including account reconciliations and detailed financial analysis.
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
* Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and company policies.
* Understand a cost model that lives within multiple systems

* What We’re Looking For:

** Professional

Experience:

* Proven experience in a publicly traded company with a robust internal control environment.
* 2-5 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience, preferably in a multi-entity and multi-location organization.

Technical Expertise:
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles and SOX compliance requirements.
* Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
* Experience working with multiple ERP and accounting systems is highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

* A proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
* Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to present financial information clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
* A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
