Your day to day as a Senior Member Service Representative

As a Senior Member Service Representative at People Driven Credit Union you will be the friendly face that greets our valued members, setting the tone for exceptional service. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including handling teller transactions with precision and efficiency, as well as opening and closing accounts and cross selling credit union products and services to meet our members' needs.

You will have the opportunity to make meaningful connections by identifying and referring products and loan options that align with their financial goals. Your expertise will not only help members navigate their banking experience but also empower them to make informed decisions regarding their finances, all while fostering a welcoming environment where they feel valued and respected.

What matters most

To excel in this role, a combination of interpersonal and technical skills is essential. A minimum of one year of previous branch banking experience is required, providing you with the foundational knowledge of financial services. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will be interacting with a diverse member base, addressing their inquiries, and providing tailored solutions. Attention to detail is crucial when handling teller transactions and managing account openings and closings.

Proficiency with banking software and tools is necessary to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all transactions.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Must pass the Sr. Member Service Representative Assessment.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as Member Service Representative and Teller is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of credit union products and services.

Must pass background and drug screening.
