Pay Salary Range: $66k - $73k/year + benefits

Seeking a proactive and analytically driven Financial Analyst.
This field-facing role supports the Sales Force by enabling fast, data-backed pricing decisions to win customer deals while protecting margin and ensuring strategic alignment.
This role also helps to analyse and maintain company pricing structures and go to market strategy while finding ways to enhance margin and provide oversight on the pricing pipeline.
The Analyst serves as a trusted partner to both Sales and Category, using tools like PROS and pricing dashboards to assess requests, model financial impact, and contribute to broader pricing strategy execution.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Field Pricing PartnershipAct as the go-to pricing contact for Sales within an assigned territory, delivering timely and well-reasoned responses to deal requests.
Review and approve pricing deviations by analyzing customer value, volume potential, margin impact, and strategic fit.
Apply pricing guardrails and escalation protocols while supporting frontline agility.
Analytics & Strategic InsightLeverage tools such as PROS, Excel, and internal dashboards to evaluate historical pricing, model scenarios, and guide decisions.
Identify pricing trends, margin risks, and customer segmentation insights to inform smarter commercial execution.
Support continuous refinement of pricing playbooks and optimization strategies.
Governance & DocumentationEnsure all pricing decisions are documented with clear rationale, aligned to policies and financial targets.
Monitor deal desk activity and contribute to reporting metrics that feed governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous review of new and existing products cost structures for accuracy and enhancement of revenue and margin.
Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Sales, Category Management, and Finance to align on pricing strategy and drive margin-accretive deals.
Provide coaching to Sales teams on pricing policies, value communication, and deal structuring.
Surface field insights to the broader Revenue Management team to influence pricing model evolution.
Position RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. (Preferred).
3–5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or sales operations—preferably in food distribution or CPG.
Strong proficiency in Excel, pricing tools, and business intelligence platforms and ERP systems (experience with PROS and AS400 strongly preferred).
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs between pricing competitiveness and margin health.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
Proven ability to build trust with cross-functional partners and influence outcomes.
