Financial Management Analyst with Security Clearance

Duties
* Work within ERP systems and local applications to support management analysis, control, budget execution, and reporting, while assisting senior specialists in applying standardized Army or higher-headquarters processes.
* Coordinates financial functions/activities to ensure that urgent supply requirements are not delayed due to financial restraints.
* Provides full range of advisory and analytical support to DOD, DA, AMC, and TACOM concerning the execution of the AWCF program.
* Prepares and/or assists in preparation of concise reports pertaining to the interrelationship between accounting, budgeting, and programming.
* Participates in the development and execution of the annual AMI-Hardware/LOGOPS Program.
* Provides expert guidance of a financial nature to the Command Staff and ILSC organizations regarding current status of funds.
* Actively reviews and tracks transactional authorizations:
* This can include Negative Unliquidated Obligations, Unmatched Disbursements, Accounts Payable, and Undelivered Orders to ensure proper use/execution of funds within specific restrictions and limitations in support of audit requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
* Position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain Financial Management (FM) Level II certification within 2 years of being placed in the position.

Experience:

Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Preparing recurring regulatory and non-regulatory financial reports for distribution;
2) Performing assignments that require identifying, researching, and resolving financial problems; and
3) Interpreting and/or applying laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific financial issues and concerns. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
