This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams at well-established schools near Brooklyn, MI, with assignments in both Adrian and Tecumseh.

Key

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required
• Valid School Psychologist certification for the state
• Comprehensive understanding of special education laws and regulations
• Experience conducting assessments, delivering interventions, and providing counseling
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites
• Professionalism and adaptability in a school setting
• Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct psycho educational evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Interpret assessment results and create individualized recommendations for students
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop effective interventions
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and crisis response as needed
• Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups
• Offer consultation services to teachers and support staff regarding student learning and behavior
• Document all services, maintain confidential records, and adhere to compliance standards
