The Health Program Coordinator serves as the lead program specialist overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs for the Arkansas Department of Health. This position provides programmatic leadership and technical guidance to Health Program Specialists and other staff, ensuring alignment with state public health goals and regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal and external partners, managing program data and documentation, and facilitating trainings and public health initiatives.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or closely related field
- Two (2) years of experience in public health, program coordination, or health education
- Strong understanding of public health principles, program planning, and evaluation methods
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of state and federal public health regulations and funding requirements
