Our client seeks a Technical Writer to join the Employee Experience Design team within Fidelity Workplace Consulting. The role will partner with external clients who administer employee benefit programs to support changes, increase awareness and understanding, and drive employee engagement. You will draft technical benefit communications, create custom content across print, web, video, and social formats, and collaborate across internal and external teams to deliver accurate, high-impact work.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:- Draft technical content for benefit communications.
- Draft custom content across multimedia formats including print, web, video, and social for client campaigns.
- Collaborate across internal and external teams to meet client objectives and deliver accurate, high-impact work.
- Strong writing and editing skills across audiences and formats.
- Working knowledge of employee retirement plan and health and welfare plan fundamentals.
- Experience drafting Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and other technically detailed benefit communications that explain complex concepts in clear, employee-friendly language.
- Ability to partner with technical consultants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity when drafting legally required documents under ERISA.
- Ability to structure SPDs and benefit guides for logical organization, clear labeling, and modularity to enable quick answers and AI-assisted extraction.
- Growth mindset with focus on continuous learning and improvement.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working across teams in fast-paced, client-facing settings.
- Commitment to inclusivity, building trust, and influencing outcomes through thoughtful communication.

- 3+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree. English, Marketing/Communications, or related field preferred.
