Snowflake is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Industry Architect with deep, hands‑on experience designing and delivering transformation initiatives powered by data, analytics, and AI. The role involves partnering with manufacturing organizations to modernize operations, connect enterprise and industrial data, and translate business priorities into scalable technical architectures and business outcomes.
In this role you will get to- Partner with customers on strategic opportunities, driving engagement and building trusted relationships with executives and data architects at customer organizations.
- Innovate and design solutions, translating manufacturing use cases into data‑driven and AI‑powered solutions and architectures, including end‑to‑end blueprints and demo showcases.
- Drive repeatability and scale by building solution assets, frameworks, workshops, and playbooks for global adoption.
- Influence the product roadmap by providing structured feedback to product teams based on industry needs and customer requirements.
- Serve as a thought leader, contributing to technical blogs, talks, field enablement, webinars, and conferences.
- 10+ years of architecture experience consulting to or implementing technology for manufacturing business units or companies.
- Expertise in manufacturing data topics and a deep understanding of industry challenges, processes, and key functional areas (Supply Chain, IT/OT, Digital Twin, etc.).
- Strong consulting skills to engage customers, identify pain points, and deliver appropriate solution architectures.
- Broad technical experience with large‑scale database and data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and public cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Science & Machine Learning concepts and their application in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with enterprise data sources such as ERPs, CRMs, SCMs, MES, SCADA, QMS, LIMS, and others.
- Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience working with senior executives and building credibility quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. - Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and related engagements.
- Strong SQL and Python skills; experience in Java, Scala, or other languages is a plus.
- 3+ years of cloud‑provider customer‑facing architecture development (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Provide technical industry overview and architecture insights.
- Extend use‑case presentations with technical architecture and decision points.
- Engage ecosystem partners and facilitate conversations with vendors.
- Review and provide feedback on solution architecture.
- Align strategic stakeholder relationships and maintain global consistency.
- Contribute to technical industry PoVs on trends such as Data Mesh, Data Vault, GenAI, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Support RFPs with industry‑specific material.
Develop scalable content and drive adoption of key use cases, fostering industry alignment and knowledge sharing within Snowflake.
Partner EngagementCollaborate with partners to develop industry best practices, architectures, and demos.
Industry EventsParticipate in relevant industry events, contributing expertise and representing Snowflake’s manufacturing solutions.
Confidentiality and Data SecurityAll employees must adhere to Snowflake’s confidentiality and security standards and protect customer information.
Compensation and Benefits- Eligible for Snowflake’s commission plan; total on‑target earnings typically $249,600–$327,600.
- Estimated base salary $187,200–$245,700.
- Eligible for an equity plan.
