Interns that show outstanding qualities may be invited back for a return internship the following summer or may be considered for full-time positions.

Role

Objectives

In the role as a Hardware Intern, you will work with the Intrepid hardware team to develop, maintain and/or troubleshoot Printed Circuit Board projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design a PCB schematic
  • Design a PCB layout
  • Apply modifications to existing PCBs
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing PCBs
  • Maintain parts library
Skills and Knowledge
  • Using Altium
  • Soldering
  • Using test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc)
  • Git/Gitlab
Qualifications
  • Previous projects and experience using the skills mentioned above is a plus
  • Debugging skills
  • Work independently
  • Being able to read, analyze, learn, test, and document
  • Being able to solve problems
  • Very well organized
  • Be able to think critically
