Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $16.50 per hour based on experience.
Hours:
The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.
Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
- Verify incoming parts against checklists and part kits for accuracy.
- Distribute ordered parts to the appropriate technicians promptly.
- Maintain control of inventory in the overflow storage area and keep parts organized.
- Stage vehicles for Manheim auction pickup and verify necessary paperwork with drivers.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shop environment, including light housekeeping duties.
- Support operational flow by ensuring parts are properly sorted, staged, and ready for technician use.
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor and team to ensure the timely handling of materials.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Services' DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
- Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 year of experience in inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics preferred; position is trainable.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to assist with general shop upkeep as needed.
- Work performed in a warehouse/garage environment with exposure to materials handling.
- Must be able to lift and move parts and supplies as needed.
