Job Description Supply Chain Manager Position Summary
  • We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in Business Analysis to lead supply chain optimization initiatives, improve operational performance, and drive data-driven decision-making across procurement, inventory management, logistics, demand planning, and supplier management functions.
  • The ideal candidate combines deep supply chain expertise with advanced analytical skills, leveraging data insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance service levels, and support strategic business objectives. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Procurement, Sales, IT, and Executive Leadership.
Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Management
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and customer requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Lead demand forecasting and supply planning processes to ensure business continuity and service excellence.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and establish key metrics to improve quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, disruptions, and operational bottlenecks.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
  • Analyze supply chain data, operational workflows, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Perform root cause analysis on service failures, inventory variances, forecasting inaccuracies, and transportation issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements for ERP, WMS, TMS, and other supply chain technology solutions.
  • Create business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support strategic investments and process changes.
Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Leverage data analytics tools to identify trends, measure performance, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Track and report key supply chain metrics including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, OTIF, fill rates, transportation costs, and supplier performance.
  • Conduct scenario planning and predictive analysis to support supply chain strategy and capacity planning.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across supply chain systems and reporting platforms.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and performance results to senior leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction improvements.
  • Support organizational change management initiatives related to process and system implementations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience with prior experience as a Business Analyst or in a highly analytical role.
