We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Project Manager – Operations & Special Projects to support strategic initiatives across our transportation and logistics network. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys problem-solving, operational improvement, and driving projects from concept through execution in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support and eventually lead new account launches across the organization.
  • Manage special projects and strategic initiatives that drive operational improvements and business growth.
  • Partner with Operations, Billing, IT, Safety, and other departments to identify and resolve operational challenges.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, service, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of technology, system integrations, and other division-wide initiatives.
  • Conduct operational audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide operational support and leadership coverage for field locations when needed.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Analyze operational performance data and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Travel throughout North America to support account launches, audits, special projects, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations experience will be considered.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
    , with travel assignments typically lasting 1–2 weeks.
  • Passport in hand or willingness to obtain one.
  • Flexibility to support launches, projects, and operational needs, including occasional second- or third-shift coverage.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, project management, or operations leadership preferred.
