This is a full-time, entry-level rotational role at General Motors, located in Warren, MI.

Members of GM’s Entry-Level Global Purchasing & Supply Chain (GPSC) Rotational Program are responsible for procuring goods and services essential for vehicle production and sustaining business operations through the global supply chain. - Mission:
Develop and implement commercial strategies aimed at delivering value to customers by ensuring timely delivery of high-quality parts and services at competitive costs for current and upcoming vehicle models.
- Purchasing:
Source key parts, systems, and technologies that go into GM vehicles and future EV products. - Supply Chain:
Plan and support vehicle and propulsion production to ensure plants have the right parts at the right time. - Logistics:
Support inbound and outbound logistics, from parts arriving at plants to vehicles reaching customers. - Other Rotational Opportunities:
Contribute to projects in areas such as value chain, sustainability, accessories, aftermarket, and supplier resiliency. - Relationship Management:
Cultivate robust cross-functional relationships internally and externally, emphasizing trust, transparency, and teamwork to drive growth and innovation.
- Background:
Entry-level position for individuals pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Packaging, Procurement/ Acquisitions and Contract Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Business Analytics, or Management Information Systems. - Experience:
Must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 and able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the summer months. - Skills:
High degree of self-motivation, analytical prowess, and independent decision-making due to the complex nature of the work involved. - Bonus:
Experience managing commercial issues with suppliers, demonstrated curiosity and aptitude for learning new AI-enabled tools, skills in complex negotiations, solid knowledge of contract law and its application to purchasing processes, knowledge of procurement software and databases, and the ability to work globally, independently, and in a self-directed manner.
