UACL Logistics is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to lead transportation and logistics operations, drive operational performance, and support continued growth. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring excellence in safety, customer service, profitability, and employee development while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Lead daily transportation and logistics operations while driving KPI performance.
• Develop, mentor, and lead operations managers and support teams.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, company, and customer requirements.
• Oversee operational budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Optimize fleet utilization, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Partner with sales and customer teams to support growth and service objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and technology-driven solutions.
• Analyze operational data to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate across Universal Logistics Holdings companies to deliver integrated supply chain solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in large-scale or multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of trucking operations, fleet management, transportation regulations, and TMS platforms.
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve operational performance, and drive financial results.
