Daily Schedule/Shift M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm (flex start and end times) some people on the team work 6-2PM or 9-5PM
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
Support installation and commissioning of equipment
Maintain facility and utility systems
Follow safety procedures, including LOTO
Document work in the CMMS and maintain accurate records
Communicate equipment status to operators and leadership
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
engineering maintenance and technical support, all of the PM’s on the equipment and the first line of support for any technical troubleshooting, planned and breakfix, it will be a mix of this depending on the day
Interaction level with the team – 14 people on the team, 3 of them are engineers, 11 are technicians, everyone has a primary area of support. There will be cross training where they can support multiple areas down the road.
This person will be supporting the equipment that is assembling the battery cells and testing them, environmental changers, manufacturing equipment that is doing the stacking and coding, diagnostic equipment
Education requirement – High School Diploma
Years of experience – At least 2 years’ experience
Type of background – engine and transmission development work translates very well in this position
Good with tools – hands on experience
Good at turning a wrench
Computer Skills – very important (Outlook, Excel, IBM tools, SharePoint, Slack/Teams)

- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, equipment manuals and operate shop equipment
