Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Controls & Reliability Technician to support proprietary CRC production equipment. This role focuses on electrical and controls implementation, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements
. You’ll work closely with the R&D/Production Manager to install and maintain systems, identify equipment weaknesses, and help improve uptime and long‑term reliability.
PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) programming and system design are handled by management — this role is about execution, installation, and problem‑solving on the floor

What You’ll Do
- Install, wire, and troubleshoot industrial electrical and control systems
- Build and modify control panels; install sensors, motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), actuators, and field devices
- Execute physical implementation of equipment and control system upgrades
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, cooling, air handling, and dust collection systems
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance alongside the maintenance team
- Identify equipment weaknesses and failure risks; research and propose practical improvements
- Support production uptime, startups, shutdowns, and equipment changeovers
Required Experience
- Strong hands‑on industrial electrical and controls experience (required)
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience installing and troubleshooting motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, and pneumatics
- Solid mechanical aptitude and practical problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate technical observations clearly
Nice to Have
- Senior maintenance or industrial electrical technician background
- Experience working around PLC‑controlled equipment (no programming required)
- Exposure to cooling systems, dust collection, or compressed air systems
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial environment experience
