Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Program Management to oversee scheduling and inventory requirements for initial production runs.
  • Analyze MRP and production schedules to proactively identify potential material shortages and initiate corrective actions and escalations as needed.
  • Monitor outsourced processes to ensure timely delivery to plants, preventing production disruptions.
  • Track inventory levels at subcontracted processes and ensure alignment with production plans.
  • Review long-term forecasts to identify and address potential capacity or material issues, recommending appropriate actions.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of weekly, monthly, and future capacity to optimize product loading and maintain manufacturing continuity during varying volume periods.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing leads to establish efficient schedules and plans that allocate resources effectively.
  • Maintain and analyze schedules, revising as necessary, and alerting relevant staff to changes or delays while recommending adjustments to resources or schedules.
  • Perform any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of Inventory Control.
  • Demonstrates thoroughness, accuracy, and reliability in job tasks, with honesty and integrity in all work aspects.
  • Must have experience with Plex Systems ERP.
  • Maintains positive working relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships.
  • Works with a sense of urgency to meet the needs of external customers and internal processes.
  • Ability to focus on the benefits of change, viewing it positively and constructively, and seeing it as a learning opportunity.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures (e.g., employee handbook).
  • Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma.
  • At least 2 years of experience, preferably in a technical manufacturing environment or project-based scheduling.
