Production Operator

Job Description:

Production Operator, 12‑Hour Night Shifts 6:00pm‑6:30am

• Responsible for producing and assembling products in the plant.
• Operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.
• Observe all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Apply quality instructions and specifications.
• Monitor the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Load/unload material into and from equipment.
• Work as a team member through sharing information, problem‑solving, and assisting others.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher (completed prior to start).
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Minimum one year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M‑selected testing as part of the selection process.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Post‑high school education.
• Basic computer knowledge.

The starting rate of pay for this position is $21.41 per hour with shift differentials. This range is a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
