As a member of a cross‑functional team, you will perform semi‑skilled production machine operations to assemble or fabricate a product or sub‑assembly in accordance with team goals. Work may be manual or by machine operation requiring in‑depth process knowledge and constant monitoring. You will ensure product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection, continuous improvement, and problem‑solving activities. You will make machine adjustments, manage variables within the process, and maintain procedures and standards to comply with quality standards.

Material movement systems will be maintained and proper paperwork and documentation will be completed.

• Perform semi‑skilled production work to assemble or fabricate a product or sub‑assembly in accordance with team production goals.
• Ensure product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem‑solving activities.
• Make machine adjustments and manage several variables within the process; maintain procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for the assigned area.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and minor machine setups efficiently.
• Maintain material movement systems and complete proper paperwork and documentation to guide operations of the team.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support team objectives.
• Perform all work in compliance with Magna and Magna Engineered Glass Systems Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures as well as all federal, state, and local laws; promptly report any hazardous condition or workplace injury to immediate supervisor or EHS designate.
• Train/retrain new employees and co‑workers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated decision‑making and problem‑solving skills to manage, prioritize, and handle many issues simultaneously.
• Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate within production and quality standards, including the operation/use of job‑related equipment such as forklift, hand tools, and production machinery.

• Prolonged standing at least 8 hours, up to 12 hours per day.
• Lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds multiple times per hour.
• Repetitive bending, twisting, turning, lifting.
• Repetitive use of hands, including gripping, grasping, pinching, and squeezing.
