Onsite Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Collect, move, sort, and process all wastes and by‑products in a fast‑paced manufacturing facility while ensuring compliance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Load and unload solid and liquid waste and recyclables safely, using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklift trucks with attachments, and other handling equipment.
• Operate processing equipment such as balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks, and pressure washers in a safe manner.
• Sort materials according to pre‑established guidelines for additional processing.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, performing cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Apply knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations in daily operations.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, continuously developing skills in alignment with the company’s core values and competencies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; high school or equivalent preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and wear protective equipment, including respirator.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain a safe work environment.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
