About the Role

The Assembler role is located at our New Hudson, MI location, reporting to the Production Manager. The Assember will produce parts to meet company specifications for customer orders and/or production requirements. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you.

What you’ll do
  • Produce quality products following company policies and procedures.
  • Bag and/or pack proper quantities for customer orders or stock as instructed. Build a variety of sub‑assemblies per production requirements.
  • Works on assembly lines where tasks vary as different models of same article moves along. Test parts and assemblies using either air or water. Bolt, screw, clip or otherwise fasten parts together.
  • Verify and record conformance of products to specifications for operations performed. Requires performance of verification methods including but not limited to use of standard equipment such as torque guns, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
  • Set up various machines within the Assembly Department.
  • Retrieve materials to complete assigned tasks and/or remove unnecessary materials from work area as necessary.
  • Complete production reports as required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.
What we are looking for
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills.
  • Follows established procedures for completing work tasks.
A plus, but not required
  • 1 year Assembly experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot simple machine problems
