* Our client, a leading precision manufacturing company serving highly regulated industries, is seeking an experienced  
** TIG Welder
** to join its growing team. This is a first-shift opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and long-term career growth.

** Responsibilities*
* + Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal components.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and work orders.

+ Set up welding equipment for various materials, thicknesses, and welding positions using fixtures and weld positioners.

+ Perform TIG welding on precision components while maintaining high quality standards.

+ Inspect completed welds and finished parts using calipers, gauges, protractors, and other precision measuring equipment.

+ Verify proper assembly and inspect for cosmetic defects.

+ Identify and tag non-conforming parts for rework.

+ Assist with belt grinding, hand grinding, and other production support duties as needed.

+ Complete work according to manufacturing schedules and standard production times.

+ Maintain accurate production records, logs, and job documentation.

+ Perform routine preventive maintenance on welding equipment.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist engineering with process development.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

+ Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

** Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Minimum of 1 year of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Basic knowledge of welding processes and metallurgy.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

+ Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.

+ Comfortable operating computer-controlled equipment and making basic program adjustments.

+ Strong mathematical and computer skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
