CNC Lathe Operator

Entech Staffing Solutions seeks a CNC Lathe Operator for a professional machining environment. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components, interpret blueprints, select tooling, and adjust machine offsets to maintain tight tolerances. You'll perform routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges, documenting measurements and making corrections as needed. Responsibilities include basic programming edits, preventive maintenance, maintaining a clean, safe work area, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals while upholding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts to specification
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Select and install tooling, set machine parameters, and adjust offsets
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
• Make basic program edits and corrections to maintain part quality
• Document production data, measurements, and quality checks
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines and tooling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following safety procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
• Report equipment issues and quality concerns promptly
