Precision Assembly Technician

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Precision Assembly Technician for a professional, scientific, and technical client. In this role, you will perform detailed mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of small components using hand tools, jigs, and microscopes. You will read and interpret blueprints, follow strict work instructions, and complete assemblies to tight tolerances and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspection, basic testing, documentation of work, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of small components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Use hand tools, gauges, jigs, and microscopes to meet tight tolerances
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and conformance to specifications
• Perform basic functional testing and record results
• Document production data and maintain accurate records
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and ESD/handling procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve assembly issues
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
