Forklift Operator

Labor Staffing Solutions LLC seeks a reliable Forklift Operator to support industrial and light manufacturing clients across West Michigan. In this fast-paced, people-focused role, you will safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials, follow work orders, and complete basic documentation. You'll inspect equipment, follow OSHA and site safety rules, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

This position offers hands-on experience at multiple client sites, steady hours, and opportunities for temp-to-hire placement with local employers.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
• Follow work orders and production schedules for staging and material flow
• Perform pre- and post-shift forklift inspections and basic equipment checks
• Adhere to OSHA, site safety policies, and proper PPE use at all times
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and loading areas
• Accurately document material movements and complete simple paperwork
• Communicate with supervisors, shipping/receiving, and production teams
• Support multiple client locations as assigned by dispatch
• Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly
• Assist with general material handling and light warehouse tasks as needed
