Job Description & How to Apply Below
A Day in the Life You arrive, review the maintenance queue, and tackle a coil-fed press that’s showing a hydraulic pressure fluctuation. You listen for irregularities, isolate the fault, and tear down the assembly to reach a worn seal. After measuring, replacing, and aligning components, you re-pipe a section of hydraulic line, bring the press back online, and run test parts to confirm quality.
Later, you fine-tune an automated lubrication circuit, then shift to the other facility to realign a clutch and spindle on a Minster press. Before clocking out, you tweak a computer-controlled motion routine so the Aida press cycles smoothly.
What You’ll Work On Repairing and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic systems on production equipment, including coil-fed metal stamping presses, metal fabrication machine tools, material handling gear, and automated lubrication systems.
Diagnosing malfunctions by observing, listening, and inspecting equipment; dismantling machinery to access problem areas.
Measuring parts to verify wear or misalignment; removing and replacing worn components in drive and hydraulic systems.
Realigning and adjusting assemblies such as spindles and clutches for optimal performance.
Locating damaged pneumatic and hydraulic piping; cutting, threading, and installing new lines.
Starting and testing machines after repair to validate operation and quality.
Fabricating or restoring parts using a lathe, drill press, and grinder.
Modifying computer-controlled motion in automation to resolve cycle or positioning issues.
Note:
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Shift & Mobility Second shift assignment.
Ability to reliably travel between and support two plant locations.
What You Bring Proven background in manufacturing press and machinery repair—specifically with metal stamping presses, weld cells, and compressors.
Strong equipment, mechanical, and general troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with metal stamping and forming, including progressive die processes.
Familiarity with Minster and Aida stamping presses.

If you thrive on solving complex mechanical and hydraulic puzzles, enjoy varied work across two plants, and take pride in presses that run flawlessly, this second-shift role is your next move.
