Job Summary

The Sales Enablement Lead connects Ford Direct product marketing, sales, and dealer-facing stakeholders with the content, tools, training, and messaging needed to drive dealer adoption and retention. This role builds practical enablement programs that help sales teams communicate product value, handle objections, support launches, and move dealers from awareness to readiness to measurable usage.

This position is a hybrid role, which requires the employee to work in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Essential Functions
  • Create a sales enablement roadmap aligned to product launches, adoption priorities, retention goals, and field readiness needs.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create materials that equip the field team with essential positioning, product, and industry knowledge.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure sales and support teams are prepared before product launches.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with teams to resolve issues and identify areas of concern or opportunity.
  • Design and deliver enablement sessions, office hours, webinars, onboarding support, reinforcement plans, and post-launch refreshers
  • Leverage AI-based tools and technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work within scope of responsibilities.
  • Serve as a bridge between marketing, sales, product, dealer support, training, and leadership to identify gaps in readiness and improve field usability of materials.
  • Use feedback from sales and dealers to improve messaging, materials, training effectiveness, and adoption tactics.
  • Support budget planning for enablement tools, content production, agency support, learning resources, and training delivery needs.

    Experience
    • Experience in sales enablement and developing playbooks, training content, presentations, launch materials, and objection-handling resources, 7+ years.
    • Creating and delivering training and presentations to various audience sizes.
    • Experience measuring enablement effectiveness through usage, readiness, adoption, feedback, or sales productivity metrics.
    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
    • Excellent facilitation, writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong understanding of how to equip sales or field teams with practical tools that improve adoption, retention, and customer conversations.
    • Knowledge of automotive retail, consultative selling, dealership consulting, CRM, digital marketing, SaaS preferred
    • Demonstrated fluency with AI-enabled tools and a working understanding of their appropriate use, limitations and application to job-related tasks.
    • Ability to develop playbooks, pitch decks, demo guides, talk tracks, FAQs, objection handling, competitive sheets, launch briefs, and training materials.
    • Ability to work with product complexity and translate technical or operational information into field-ready language.
    • Proactively problem-solve and multitask while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
    • Follow through mindset to uphold a 'close the loop' culture.
    • A positive approach to serving customers and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, high ethics, and project a professional image.
    • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with a positive 'can do' attitude.
    • The drive to identify and seize opportunities for continuous improvement as business needs change.
    • Excellent organization, flexibility and time management skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline driven environment.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and business communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    Education

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education
