Paid Canvasser, Non-Profit & Social Impact

Always United LLC, a Utah-based, faith-centered organization supporting families and individuals, is seeking a Paid Canvasser to join our mission-driven outreach team. In this role, you will conduct door-to-door and community-based outreach in the Salt Lake City area, engaging residents with warmth and respect while sharing information about our family support and faith-based services. You'll gather basic contact information, listen to community needs, and help connect individuals to appropriate programs.

Ideal candidates are friendly, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable talking with people from diverse backgrounds. Training is provided, and you'll work closely with a collaborative team dedicated to building stronger, more resilient communities. This position offers hands-on experience in outreach, social services, and community engagement while making a meaningful impact every day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door and community-based canvassing to engage individuals and families
• Communicate clearly about Always United LLC's faith-based programs and services
• Collect accurate contact information and feedback using mobile tools or paper forms
• Represent the organization with professionalism, empathy, and integrity in the community
• Meet daily and weekly outreach and engagement goals set by the team lead
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and role-plays to improve outreach skills
• Maintain detailed, timely records of conversations and follow-up needs
• Collaborate with staff to connect interested individuals to appropriate programs
• Follow safety guidelines and respect privacy and property during canvassing
• Support occasional community events, workshops, and outreach campaigns
