Registered Nurse – Waldenburg Emergency Department – Contingent

Shift: Contingent, primarily midnights

Henry Ford Medical Center Waldenburg Emergency Department is an 11‑bed department staffed with RNs, Medic and Physician providing access to 24/7 emergency medicine, primary and specialty care, and diagnostic services. Our department is located west of Romeo Plank off 23-mile road and aims to improve the health and wellness of patients while being located in the heart of Macomb County. We welcome candidates with at least one year of prior critical care experience.

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• At least 3 years ER experience preferred.

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
