Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical ) – Detroit Medical Center (DMC) – Huron Valley‑Sinai Hospital, MI – scheduled hours: 72, FTE: 0.9, days shift.

• Provide patient care activities for a group of patients and families, applying independent judgment.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care to team members.
• Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
• Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision‑making activities.
• Lead, partner, collaborate, teach, and supervise nursing team.

• Graduated from a nursing school (BSN preferred).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
