Travel Nurse Source is working with to find a qualified RNFA RN in Lansing, Michigan, 48901.
We are actively hiring an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) for one of our clients, a leading cardiovascular surgery team in Lansing, MI. This role involves assisting in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries within a fast-paced Acute Care OR setting.
You will work closely with cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, playing a critical role in surgical procedures and patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure surgical safety standards
- Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Active Michigan RN License
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA)
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- Minimum 2 years Acute Care OR experience required
- Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Endoscopic vein harvesting experience
- Experience with CABG, vascular, and thoracic procedures
