Registered Nurse (RN) OB

Job Type: Part-Time | 0.45 FTE or 36 hours per week.

Schedule:

3 x 12-hour Day/Night shifts per week, days primary 7-7. Works Christmas (even years), every 3rd weekend and holiday.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient/family and provide age, culture, and condition appropriate education.
• Advocate for physical and emotional well-being of patient.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred).

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• One-year medical surgical experience required.
• OB experience or OB qualifications (preferred).
• NRP, AWHONN, EFM, STABLE, and PEOP (within 6 months).
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.
